CHILLICOTHE — In a word, Kaci Carroll has been magnificent all season.

Huntington’s senior do-it-all captain’s numbers speak for themselves. While leading her Huntsmen to a 19-3 mark, Carroll has posted 391 kills, 43 aces, 10 blocks and 280 digs.

Every single night, Carroll got the job done and answered the bell when her number was called.

On Wednesday, Carroll’s body of work was rewarded as she was named the Scioto Valley Conference’s Player of the Year.

On the opposite side of the net, Adena’s Kimmy Dalton has earned the SVC’s Defensive Player of the Year honor. Dalton was spectacular in every sense of the word, leading a league championship defense with 433 digs and 19.7 per match.
