Take a look at the Southeast’s All-District softball lists

PORTSMOUTH — The Southeast District Softball Coaches Association has released its all-district lists, which include many names fans have become familiar with this spring.

Here’s a brief look at all of the all-district honorees from SOSA’s coverage area — the SVC, SOC, FAC, OVC, SHAC and MSL-Buckeye, as well as Vinton County, Wellston, Athens, Nelsonville-York and Logan.

DIVISION I

Logan and Chillicothe, the only two teams in Division I, were well represented on the all-district lists.

Chillicothe freshman CJ Rittinger was selected as the Player of the Year while her coach, Andrea Morgan, was named the Coach of the Year.

Logan’s Alyssa Hill joins Rittinger with first-team honors.

Second-team honors were earned by Logan’s Aislynn Slack and Chillicothe’s Morgan Webb.

Logan’s Jocelyn Sarver and Zoe Green, and Chillicothe’s Cadie Boltenhouse and Alyssa Dudley are honorable mention honorees.

DIVISION II

In Division II, Sheridan’s Cora Hall is the District Player of the Year while Unioto’s Rob Hull has been named the Coach of the Year.

Joining Hall with first-team honors are Circleville’s Gabby McConnell, Unioto’s Hannah Hull, Alexis Book and Abbie Marshall, Fairland’s Kaylee Salyer, Fairfield Union’s Adelyn Wolfe, Hillsboro’s Camryn Spruell, Logan Elm’s Sadie Binkley and Lynsay Vanhoose, Athens’ Kendra Hammonds and Kayla Hammonds, and Jackson’s Lillie Eberts.

Second-team honorees are McClain’s Leah Lovett and Olivia Stegbauer, Circleville’s Ella Michael, Vinton County’s Jordyn Zinn, Fairland’s Makena Black, Athens’ Rylee Toadvine and Fern Sigman, Hillsboro’s Mylea Fridley, Jackson’s Serenity Taylor, Maddie Wright and KJ Worsham, Waverly’s Lexi Smith and Machelle Stewart, Gallia Academy’s Ava Angel, Fairfield Union’s Kayle Emswiler, and Washington’s Addison Knisley.

McClain’s Brie Cummins and Kenzie Wise, Circleville’s Kaylee West and Claire Davis, Waverly’s Ava Robertson and Caris Risner, Gallia Academy’s Reagan Skidmore, Colbie Nida and Taylor Mathie, Fairfield Union’s Ella Harmon, Fairland’s Ally Shepherd and Katie DeHart, Unioto’s Megan Miller, Washington’s Lilly Shaw, Mikhaylee Ragland and Olivia Haycook, Hillsboro’s Halle Reveal and Chloe Roberts, and Logan Elm’s Peyton Richendollar and Ryleigh Wolfe are honorable mention selections.

DIVISION III

Wheelersburg’s Catie Boggs and Fairfield’s Caitlyn Quickle have been selected as the co-District Players of the Year in Division III.

Boggs’ skipper, Teresa Ruby, has been named the District Coach of the Year.

First-team honorees, alongside Boggs and Quickle, are Wheelersburg’s Andi Jo Howard, Ava Estep and Kaylynn Carter, South Webster’s Skylar Zimmerman and Lauren Kaltenbach, Wellston’s Hannah Potts and Maddie Childers, Huntington’s Savannah Bushatz, West’s Kate Rollins and Kaylor Pickelsimer, Adena’s Kiera Williams, Piketon’s Jaylin Forbes, Northwest’s Lauren Redoutey, Coal Grove’s Abbie Deeds, Westfall’s Delana Landefeld, Ironton’s Graycie Brammer and Khamil Martin and Fairfield’s Jobey Hattan.

A host of second-team honorees in Division III include Portsmouth’s Olivia Dickerson and Emily Cheatham, Zane Trace’s Brynn Wipert and Abby Guffey, Adena’s Emma Garrison, Rock Hill’s Karlee Gillispie, Huntington’s Allie Baker, Lynchburg-Clay’s Noel Barnhill, Nelsonville-York’s Emmie Fowler, Westfall’s Sydney Fuller, South Point’s Adyson Copley, South Webster’s Bella Claxon, Fairfield’s Emmi Vance, Chesapeake’s Hannah Webb, Southeastern’s Jozy Lougheed, Northwest’s Brooke Hawes, Ironton’s Braylin Wallace and West’s Emily Moore.

DIVISION IV

In Division IV, Manchester’s Rylie Young was named District Player of the Year while Valley’s Kayla Taulbee was named Coach of the Year.

Joining Young on the first-team list is Notre Dame’s Gwen Sparks, Alayla Soard and Maycee Ford, Valley’s Emiliee Johnson and Ryleigh Weeks, Symmes Valley’s Desiree Simpson and Brenna Tibbs, Eastern’s Megan Nickell and Hannah Felts, Clay’s Sarah Cassidy, New Boston’s Jadelyn Lawson and Paint Valley’s Sophia Stauffer.

Earning second-team honors are Green’s Addison Christian and Ryleigh McDavid, East’s Ella Shope and Bailee Guido, Valley’s Karsyn Davis, Whiteoak’s Jaylie Parr, Notre Dame’s Maddie Entler, Western’s Megan Whitley, Manchester’s Jenna Campbell, Clay’s Shea Rawlins, New Boston’s Cassie Williams and Symmes Valley’s Savannah Mart.

Highlighting the honorable mention list is South Gallia’s Sydney Hornsby, Kennedy Shamblin, Emilee Bowling and Leah Skillmore, Western’s Addy Brewster, Lauren Ware and Finley May, Clay’s Madison Carver and Lynsey Loop, Green’s Bethenyy Kilgore and Emma Brown, Manchester’s Brislynn McClanahan and Addilynn Hunter, East’s Karleigh Lenney and Shey Johnson, Paint Valley’s Kasarah Cantrell, Valley’s Braxtyn Holbrook, Symmes Valley’s Marley Ferguson and Eastern’s Madison Shuler and Braelyn Blevins.
