JACKSON — Teams have game planned all season about how to stop Jackson’s Cade Wolford

In short, you can’t. 

The senior standout and Kent State commit has piled up 1,350 rushing yards on 127 carries for 23 touchdowns. He’s also caught 11 passes for 227 yards and six more scores. 

After leading Jackson to a 9-1 record and the Frontier Athletic Conference title, Wolford has been named the FAC Player of the Year. 

He’s joined on all-FAC by teammates Drew Wiley, Bodhi Wolford, Jake Allen, Ethan Crabtree, Nolan Johnson and Ryan Seimetz. The rest of the list is comprised of Miami Trace’s Garrett Guess, Asher LeBeau, Trey Robinette, Brady Sheets and Nick Farrens, Hillsboro’s Austin Barnett, Gary Reno, Ian Lawson and Ayden Clemons, McClain’s Andrew Potts, Kaden Penwell and Cade Sponcil, Washington’s Rocky Jones, Mason Coffman and Isaiah Haithcock, and Chillicothe’s Oscar Morgan and Evan Lake.
