A Logan Elm quartet headlines MSL-Buckeye football honors.

CIRCLEVILLE — The Mid-State League released its all-conference football list on Tuesday with a slew of Logan Elm players headlining the honors. 

Teays Valley’s Harrison Payne is a second-team all-MSL selection.

Blayton Reid, Landon Thompson, R.J. Weber and Braylen Baker were all named first-team MSL after helping the Braves to an 8-3 season and a second-place finish inside the conference. 

Joining them on the first-team list was Teays Valley’s Gavin Karshner, Tristan Graham and Calvin McDowell, Fairfield Union’s Hayden Collins, Brennan Rowles, Gunnar George and Isabella Neal, Circleville’s Scott Moats and Joe Streitnberger and Amanda-Clearcreek’s Logan Stevens

Second-team MSL homors were highlighted by Teays Valley’s Harrison Payne, Kaden Hines and Trent Wolpert, Logan Elm’s Tanner Holbert, Aaron Walters, Nolan Brumfield and Carson Summers, Fairfield Union’s Owen Ruff, Braden Shull and Kevin Hazelwood, Circleville’s Trentt Fulgham and Jude Blair, and Amanda-Clearcreek’s Peter Smith and Tommy Stai

Honorable mention honors were earned by Amanda-Clearcreek’s Alex Williams, Wyatt Detty and Landon Mills, Logan Elm’s Gavin Gaffey, Drew Tomlinson and Camden Redd, Teays Valley’s Hayden Wells, Richard Odum and Gavin Sparks, Circleville’s Drew Thornsley, Mark Brunner and Parker Kidwell, and Fairfield Union’s Ian Headley, Jayden Pritchard and Kyle Wolfe

Logan Elm coach Terry Holbert won the George Murphy award, Rowles won the Ernie Godrey award, and Bloom-Carroll’s Andrew Marshall and Jaden Bell were named Back of the Year and Lineman of the Year, respectively.
