COLUMBUS — The Ohio Prep Sports Media Association released its Division IV, V, VI and VII All-Ohio girls basketball teams Monday afternoon and a handful of names within SOSA’s coverage area graced the list.
In Division IV, Fairfield Union’s Christian Thompson is a first-team All-Ohioan after scoring 19.3 points per game and leading the Falcons to 27 wins alongside conference, district and regional championships.
Circleville’s Addison Edgington and Logan Elm’s Kiannah Ingram were tabbed with second-team honors.

Edgington averaged 16.8 points and 8.1 rebounds, leading her Tigers to 20 wins and a district final appearance. Ingram, meanwhile, scored 20.9 points per night, including her 1,000th career point to help her Braves piece together a 12-12 record.
McClain’s Paisley Pryor, Waverly’s Caris Risner and Hillsboro’s Tylee Davis received special mention honors, while honorable mention honors were earned by South Point’s Saratina Jackson, Gallia Academy’s Kenya Pack, Circleville’s Maddie Blakeman, Vinton County’s Emma Leaming, McClain’s Larah Hanson, Hillsboro’s Peighton Bledsoe and Fairfield Union’s Maycee Martindill.
Fairfield Union coach Keith Barr was named the Division IV Coach of the Year.
In Division V, Portsmouth’s Sienna Allen and Huntington’s Allie Baker were tabbed with first-team All-Ohio honors.
Allen led the Trojans to 27 wins and the Division V state championship, averaging 13.8 points per night while also tallying her 1,000th career point. Baker also scored her 1,000th career point and piled in 18.7 points per night for the 17-win Huntsmen.
Amanda-Clearcreek’s Taylor Evans was named to the second-team after leading the Aces to 13 wins, scoring 16 points per game.
Highlighting the third-team All-Ohio list was Fairland’s Kam Barnitz, Ironton’s Lola Hankins and Portsmouth’s Daysha Reid.
Barnitz was the leader for the Dragons, who collected a third-straight regional title, as she scored 12.5 points per night, including her 1,000th career point. Hankins was a machine for the 12-win Tigers, averaging 18.5 points while Reid’s 12.7 points per game were critical in bringing back-to-back district and regional titles to Portsmouth.
Making the special mention list was Chesapeake’s Kate Ball, Adena’s Marly Holcomb, River Valley’s Kallie Burger, Fairland’s Addison Godby, Alexander’s Lily Ryder, North Adams’ Katelynn Boerger, Wheelersburg’s Peyton May and Minford’s Lindsee Williams.
The honorable mention group features Portsmouth’s Keke Woods and Hayven Carter, Fairland’s Bailey Russell, Southeastern’s Reese Ruckel, River Valley’s Hayley Edwards, Piketon’s Laila Kelley, Ironton’s Emerson White, Rock Hill’s J’Lynn Risner, West Union’s Ashlah Staten, Wheelersburg’s Mia Vastine and Minford’s Lexi Conkel.
Portsmouth coach Amy Hughes was named Division V Coach of the Year.
In Division VI, Federal Hocking’s Brenlee Cottrill was named a first-team All-Ohioan, leading the Lancers to 17 wins and their first district title since 1998 with 17.5 points per game.
Belpre’s Gracie Bills and Ripley’s Rachael Hackney were named to the special mention list, while Whiteoak’s Addison Roberts and Addy Hauke, West’s Brayleigh Pistole and Macey Whisman, Eastern Meigs’ Braelyn Simpson, Belpre’s Haley Alloway, Coal Grove’s Jenna Anson, Eastern Brown’s Tabby Schumacher, Federal Hocking’s Jaylee Orsborne and Valley’s Ella Thompson earned honorable mention.

In Division VII, Green’s Abbie Knapp was honored as a first-team All-Ohioan after leading the Bobcats to their first district title since 1993 with 27 points per game.
Waterford’s Kendall Sury was a second-team selection after helping the Wildcats win their third state title in the last nine years, averaging 12 points per game.
Her teammate, Avery Wagner, was tabbed with third-team honors after adding 12.7 points per game to the Wildcats’ 27 and title-winning season.
South Gallia’s Emma Clary was named to the special mention list, while Notre Dame’s Laney Strickland and Jaysa Bryant, Waterford’s Avery Smithberger, Symmes Valley’s Kaitlyn Maynard, Southern’s Kiersten Rose, Clay’s Emma Emnett, Trimble’s Rilynn Fouts, New Boston’s Brooklyn Boyer and Green’s Matti Hayslip earned honorable mention accolades.
