WAVERLY — The District 14 Coaches Association released its All-district boys basketball teams on Monday with a slew of familiar names headlining the list.
In Division III, Miami Trace’s Adam Guthrie was tabbed as the Player of the Year, Hillsboro’s Tate Davis and Unioto’s Blake Fitch were named the co-Players of the Year in Division IV, Minford’s Myles Montgomery and Bennett Kayser shared the honor in Division V, Eastern’s Tucker Leist earned the accolade in Division VI and Western’s Drew Haggy claimed the Division VII honor.
Guthrie has led the Panthers to an undefeated season and was the FAC Player of the Year, while Davis scores 14.9 points per night for the 11-win Indians. Fitch was named the SVC Player of the Year for the league-champion Shermans, scoring 14.5 points per night.
Montgomery and Kayser have guided the Falcons to 21 wins and a Gold Ball, both averaging 24.3 points per game this season, while reaching milestones of 2,000 and 1,000 career points, respectively.
Leist has led the Eagles to 19 wins, the SOC II championship and the top seed in Division VI, while Haggy is averaging over 18 points each night for the 14-win Indians.
Here’s a look at the complete all-district list.
DIVISION III/IV
Joining Guthrie, Fitch and Davis on the Division III/IV first-team list is Guthrie’s teammate Skye Salyers and Davis’ teammate Jack Howland.
On the second-team list is Washington’s Noah Haithcock, Chillicothe’s Caydon Cox, Logan Elm’s Nemiah Waugh, Circleville’s Kole Nungester and Unioto’s Blake Hoops.
Earning third-team honors are Waverly’s Kage Alexander, McClain’s Zane Adams, Westfall’s Bryan Craig, Circleville’s Riley Jenkins and Miami Trace’s Trey Robinette.
Honorable mention honors were earned by Miami Trace’s Gage Bowers, Unioto’s K.B. Perkins, Logan Elm’s Tyler Speas, Circleville’s Ed Kirk, Waverly’s Teagan Hurt, McClain’s Jordan Bell, Chillicothe’s Cooper Stoneking, Hillsboro’s Tre Captain, Westfall’s Joe Wray and Washington’s Jeston Everhart.
Miami Trace coach Ben Ackley is the Division III District 14 Coach of the Year, while Unioto’s Matt Combs has earned that honor in Division IV.

DIVISION V
Alongside Montgomery and Kayser on the first-team list in Division V is their teammate, Jackson Shoemaker, Northwest’s Brenden Vice, Eastern Brown’s Grady Barber and Zane Trace’s Grady Stewart.
On the second-team list is Northwest’s Aidden Armbrister, Wheelersburg’s Braylon Rucker, Eastern Brown’s Braxton Vance, Piketon’s Bo Henry, Portsmouth’s Daequon Woods and Zane Trace’s Gunnar McCullough.
The honorable mention list is highlighted by Eastern Brown’s Kade Walkup, Minford’s Kade Glockner, Northwest’s Jake Brown, Piketon’s Treven Shanks, Portsmouth’s Malachi Loper, West Union’s Gavin Jarvis, Wheelersburg’s Landon McGraw and Zane Trace’s Landon Robinson.
DIVISION VI
Alongside Leist on the first-team list Division VI is North Adams’ Breestin Schweickart and Jayce Rothwell, Paint Valley’s Braylon Robertson, Lynchburg-Clay’s Denver Clinton and Southeastern’s Lane Williams.
On the second-team list is Huntington’s Frankie Hirsch, Peebles’ Carson Reed, Valley’s Chase Davis, West’s Will Kegley, Paint Valley’s Carson Free and Eastern’s Boston Webb.
Making the third-team group is Valley’s Christian Copen and Braxton Conaway, Adena’s Joey Francis, Eastern’s Declan Davis, North Adams’ Carsen Osbourne and West’s Corbin Miller.
The honorable mention list is comprised of Adena’s Colton Garrison, Eastern’s Aiden Warner, Huntington’s Gabe Beardsley, Lynchburg-Clay’s Cody Bell, Valley’s Blake Lundy, North Adams’ Connor Young, Paint Valley’s Jase Rinehart, Peebles’ Garrett Shiveley, Clay’s Ryan McCullough, West’s Logan Wolfenbarker, Ripley’s Blake Fyffe and Southeastern’s Carter Fisher.
Eastern coach Ethan Leist is the Division VI Coach of the Year.
DIVISION VII
Joining Haggy on the first-team list is his teammate, Kam Janes, Fairfield’s Brody Smith, Green’s Jon Knapp, Notre Dame’s Landon Barbarits, Manchester’s Parker Hayslip and South Webster’s Dylan Shupert.
In the second-team group is South Webster’s Eli Roberts, Whiteoak’s Zander Roades, Fairfield’s Logan McIntosh, Notre Dame’s Myles Phillips, New Boston’s Wyatt McNeil, Manchester’s Braylon Roberts and East’s Kaiden Huston.
The honorable mention list is comprised of Whiteoak’s Brady Brandenburg, Notre Dame’s Aaron Bradford, Manchester’s Elijah Crabtree, New Boston’s Lamarcus Parker, Green’s Landon Kimbler, East’s Keagan Barker, South Webster’s Hunter Barnard and Western’s Landon Owens.
Notre Dame coach Matt Mader, South Webster coach Norm Persin and Fairfield’s Quentin Williams were named Tri-Coaches of the Year.
