WASHINGTON COURT HOUSE — Adam Guthrie is pretty inevitable, unbelievably effective and, most of the time, un-guardable.
As a mountain of a mismatch at 6-foot-7 with quick feet and a basketball IQ to match, he’s helped guide Miami Trace to an undefeated season.
The Panthers currently sit at 21-0 and Guthrie is the team’s leading scorer and rebounder.
With a Gold Ball sitting in Miami Trace’s locker room, his efforts throughout the season were rewarded on Friday as he was named the FAC’s Player of the Year.
He was joined on the all-FAC list by teammates Trey Robinette and Skye Salyers, Jackson’s Bodhi Wolford and Stephen Jenkins, Hillsboro’s Jack Howland and Tate Davis, Washington’s Noah Haithcock and Chillicothe’s Caydon Cox.
Earning honorable mention accolades was Jackson’s Charlie Woodard, Chillicothe’s Cooper Stoneking, Miami Trace’s Gage Bowers and McClain’s Zane Adams.
