PEEBLES — The District 14 Coaches Association released its all-aistrict girls basketball honors on Monday and a group of familiar names headlined the list.

In Division III/IV, Unioto’s Milee Smith and Mya Hamilton were tabbed as the co-Players of the Year while Circleville’s Addison Edgington earned that honor in Division IV.

Meanwhile, Portsmouth’s Sienna Allen and Daysha Reid split POY honors in Division V while Ripley’s Raquel Hackney and Green’s Abbie Knapp earned the honor in Division VI and VII, respectively. 

Here’s a look at the complete list.

DIVISION III/IV

Joining Smith, Hamilton and Edgington with first-team honors in Division III/IV are Circleville’s Maddie Blakeman, McClain’s Paisley Pryor, Logan Elm’s Kiannah Ingram and Hillsboro’s Tylee Davis

On the second-team list is Waverly’s Paige O’Bryant and Caris Risner, Logan Elm’s Kimmy Petty, Hillsboro’s Kyra Boyd, Miami Trace’s Gracie Lovett, McClain’s Anna Eikenberry and Washington’s Maggi Wall

Honorable mention accolades were earned by Miami Trace’s Ellie Robinette, Hillsboro’s Peighton Bledsoe, Unioto’s Keyariah Beard, Logan Elm’s Gillian Savage, Circleville’s Brooklyn Cramer, Waverly’s Sadie Royster, McClain’s Larah Henson and Washington’s Peyton Hughes

Unioto coach Jeff Miller is the Division III Coach of the Year while McClain coach Shania Massie was named Division IV Coach of the Year. 

Portsmouth’s Daysha Reid is the co-District 14 Player of the Year.

DIVISION V

Alongside Allen and Reid on the first-team list in Division V is North Adams’ Katelynn Boerger, Minford’s Lindsee Williams, Huntington’s Allie Baker and Adena’s Marly Halcomb

Second-team honors were earned by Wheelersburg’s Peyton May, Adena’s Corinne Day, Piketon’s Laila Kelley and Jaylin Forbes, Westfall’s Adrian Moehl and Southeastern’s Reese Ruckel

Making the third-team list is Southeastern’s Rowen Ruckel, Northwest’s Claire Newman, Zane Trace’s Emma Houston, Minford’s Lexi Conkel, Portsmouth’s Keke Woods and Huntington’s Brailee Hauswirth

The honorable mention list is highlighted by Adena’s Jacey Smith, Huntington’s Tori Smith, Minford’s Maggie Risner, North Adams’ Tatum Grooms, Northwest’s Mollyann Runyon, Piketon’s Reese Shanks, Portsmouth’s Hayven Carter, Southeastern’s Gracie Brown, Westfall’s Mackenzie Cook, Wheelersburg’s Mia Vastine, Zane Trace’s Haylynn Boggess-Pierce and West Union’s Ashlah Staten

Portsmouth coach Amy Hughes has been named the Division V Coach of the Year. 

DIVISION VI

Joining Hackney on the first-team list in Division VI is Eastern Brown’s Tabby Schumacher, Eastern’s Laiken Gullett, Whiteoak’s Addison Roberts and Lynchburg-Clay’s Addilynn Carraher

In the second-team group is West’s Macey Whisman and Bryleigh Pistole, Fairfield’s Rilee Quickle, Whiteoak’s Addy Hauke and Peebles’ Abigail Smalley

Gracing the third-team list is Eastern Brown’s Sophia Uhl, Valley’s Ella Thompson, Ripley’s Brooklyn Manning, Paint Valley’s Karris Dye and Fairfield’s Meri Jackson.

Honorable Mention honors were earned by Whiteoak’s Kylee Hamm, Eastern Brown’s Lilly Yuppa, Fairfield’s Vivian Henninger, Eastern’s Cylie Weaver, Valley’s Katelyn Queen, Lynchburg-Clay’s Joslyn Rockey, Paint Valley’s Sophia Stauffer, West’s Hailey Carver, Peebles’ Angel Gray and Ripley’s Grace Taylor

Whiteoak coach Cole Schaefer was named the Division VI Coach of the Year.

DIVISION VII

Alongside Knapp on the first-team list in Division VII is her teammate Matti Hayslip, Clay’s Emma Emnett, South Webster’s Addi Claxon and Notre Dame’s Laney Strickland

The second-team list is made up of Notre Dame’s Bree Hicks and Jaysa Bryant, New Boston’s Arenda Gosselin and Brooklyn Boyer, Manchester’s Faith Scott and South Webster’s Cailee Blevins

The honorable mention list is made up of Western’s Kerrigan Marhoover, Notre Dame’s Kaylyn Darden, Manchester’s Bella Hughes, New Boston’s Justina Williams, Clay’s Sophia Craft, South Webster’s Kennedy Hamilton and Green’s Ava Abrams

Green coach Melissa Knapp has been the named Division VII Coach of the Year.
