SARDINIA — The Southern Hills Athletic Conference has released its all-conference baseball and softball honors and a quartet of conference title teams leads the lists.
On the baseball side in SHAC I, Wyatt Haupt, Carter Vaughn, Pryce Murphy and Wylee Sawyers earned all-league honors for division champion Eastern Brown. They are joined by Lynchburg-Clay’s Christian Flowers, Cole Wells and Braedon West, North Adams’ Easton Daulton and Peebles’ Gage Grooms.
Whiteoak’s Eli Roberts, Zander Roades and Kaden Moon-Stone headline the conference’s Division II selections and they are joined by Fairfield’s Gabe Fouch, Cade Miller and Zane Matthews, Manchester’s Luke Applegate, Thomas Barnhart and Drew Kennedy, and Fayetteville’s Clayton Holden.
Eastern Brown’s Steve Goetz is the SHAC Coach of the Year.
As for softball, in Division I, Lynchburg-Clay’s Noel Barnhill and Autumn Griffith lead the way, followed by Eastern Brown’s Allie Grooms and Addi Arey, Peebles’ Caydence Carroll and Kaelyn Musser, North Adams’ Carlee Garrison and West Union’s Mackenzie Stout.
Division II honors were earned by Fayetteville’s Kenley Polston, Izabella Waddle and Ava Wells, Fairfield’s Caitlyn Quickle, Jobey Hattan and Emmi Vance, Manchester’s Rylie Young and Jenna Campbell, Ripley’s Kenlee Finn and Whiteoak’s Jaylie Parr.
The SHAC’s softball Coaches of the Year are Fayetteville’s Kenneth Waddle and Fairfield’s Ellen Binegar.
NOTE: Players of the Year in each sport will be announced later at the all-conference awards banquet.
