SEAMAN — The District 14 Coaches Association released its All-District boys team with a trio of familiar names headlining the list.
In Division I/II, Washington’s Isaiah Haithcock and Hillsboro’s Tate Davis were tabbed as co-Players of the Year while North Adams’ Bransyn Copas and South Webster’s Eli Roberts earned that honor in Division III and IV, respectively.
Davis led the Indians to 12 wins and was the FAC Player of the Year, while Haithcock lifted the Blue Lions to 15 wins this season with 14.5 points and 8.6 rebounds per night.
Copas has guided the Green Devils to 18 wins and a Gold Ball, averaging 17.8 points per game this season.
Roberts, meanwhile, has guided the Jeeps to 19 wins and the top seed in Division IV, averaging 23.3 points and 8.4 rebounds.
Joining Haithcock and Davis on the Division I/II first-team list is Haithcock’s teammate John Wall, Miami Trace’s Adam Guthrie, Unioto’s Blake Fitch and Circleville’s Briley Cramer.
On the second-team list is Chillicothe’s Cooper Stoneking, Waverly’s Caden Nibert, Washington’s Garrett Rickman, Miami Trace’s Bryson Osbourne, Logan Elm’s Nemiah Waugh and Unioto’s Blake Hoops.
Honorable mention honors were earned by Miami Trace’s Austin Boebdecker, Unioto’s Zeke Schobelock, Logan Elm’s Brody Sabine, Circleville’s Slater Search, Waverly’s Sawyer Meyers, McClain’s Seth Weller, Chillicothe’s Caydon Cox, Hillsboro’s Jackson Howland and Washington’s Gabe Tayese.
Unioto coach Matt Hoops is the Division II District 14 Coach of the Year.
Alongside Copas on the first-team list in Division III is Valley’s Jace Copley, Minford’s Myles Montgomery, Portsmouth’s DeAndre Berry and Northwest’s Connor Lintz.
On the second-team list is Adena’s Joedy Ater, Wheelersburg’s Devon Lattimore, Westfall’s Brody Clark, Minford’s Bennett Kayser and Zane Trace’s Landen Jarrell.
Earning third-team recognition is Northwest’s Tanner Bolin, Paint Valley’s Carson Free, West’s Jeffery Bishop and Minford’s Jackson Shoemaker, Piketon’s Brent McGuire.
The honorable mention list is highlighted by Adena’s Lucas King, Eastern Brown’s Grady Barber, Huntington’s Noah Potter, Lynchburg-Clay’s Denver Clinton, Valley’s Parker Lute, Minford’s Jeffery Pica, North Adams’ Jayce Rothwell, Northwest’s Jay Jenkins, Paint Valley’s Braylon Robertson, Peebles’ Carson Reed, Piketon’s Garrett Legg, Portsmouth’s Donnovan Breech, West’s Trevor Fike, Southeastern’s Lane Williams, Westfall’s Jeremiah Layton, Wheelersburg’s Braylon Rucker, Zane Trace’s Landon Robinson and West Union’s Trea Grooms.
North Adams coach Nathan Copas was named Division III District 14 Coach of the Year.
Joining Roberts on the first-team list is Fairfield’s Larkin Friend, Notre Dame’s Cody Metzler, Western’s Drew Haggy and Eastern’s Jace White.
On the second-team tab is Green’s Jon Knapp, Western’s Kam Janes, South Webster’s Tyler Sommer, New Boston’s Devin Allard and Manchester’s Connor Darnell.
Third-team honors were earned by Fairfield’s Trey House and Logan McIntosh, Notre Dame’s Landon Barbarits, Clay’s Kenny Fowler, Whiteoak’s Weston Blair and Eastern’s Tucker Leist.
The honorable mention list is comprised of Whiteoak’s Sawyer Blair, Notre Dame’s Myles Phillips, Clay’s Keegan Newman, Eastern’s Teagan Warner, New Boston’s Jayce Tabor, Green’s Landon Kimbler, East’s Keagan Barker, South Webster’s Jack Timothy and Western’s Logan Lightle.
Notre Dame coach Matt Mader was named Division IV District 14 Coach of the Year.
