HILLSBORO — All season long, teams have centered on slowing down Hillsboro’s Tate Davis. Few have had an answer for the Indians’ standout guard.
He’s averaged 16.2 points per night, leading his team to 12 wins as it prepares to face Miami Trace for a third time in a Division II sectional semifinal.
His efforts throughout the season were rewarded on Friday as he was named the FAC’s Player of the Year.
He was joined on all-FAC by his teammate Jackson Howland, Washington’s Isaiah Haithcock, John Wall and Garrett Rickman, Miami Trace’s Adam Guthrie and Bryson Osbourne, Jackson’s Boston Campbell and Chillicothe’s Cooper Stoneking.
