Take a look at the Southeast District's all-district softball lists, which were released on Wednesday.

PORTSMOUTH — The Southeast District Softball Coaches Association released its all-district lists this week with talents being recognized throughout the region for their efforts this season. 

Here’s a brief look at all of the all-district honorees from SOSA’s coverage area — the SVC, SOC, FAC, SHAC, OVC and MSL-Buckeye, as well as Logan, Vinton County, Wellston, Athens and Portsmouth.

DIVISION I

The two names on the first-team all-district list in Division I are Logan’s Aislynn Slack and Chillicothe’s Mikayla Spaulding.

Slack is the Division I Player of the Year while her coach, Jim Huntsberger, is the Coach of the Year.

Second-team honors were earned by Logan’s Meghan Spencer and Chillicothe’s Julie Lemaster while honorable mention accolades went to Chillicothe’s Morgan Webb and Vivian Morgan, and Logan’s CeCe Klum and Alyssa Hill.

DIVISION II

Headlining the first-team list in Division II are Circleville’s Cara Cooper, Chandler Hayes and Gabby McConnell, Athens’ Olivia Banks, Ashleigh James and Bailee Toadvine, Hillsboro’s Camryn Spruell and Kinsey Gilliland, Logan Elm’s Sadie Binkley, Unioto’s Alexis Book and Hannah Hull, Jackson’s Serenity Taylor, McClain’s Leah Lovett, Fairland’s Kaylee Salyer and Waverly’s Lexi Smith.

Cooper has been named the division’s Player of the Year while Unioto’s Rob Hull is the Coach of the Year.

Representing their respective schools on the second-team list are Jackson’s Maddie Wright, Fairfield Union’s Jenna Brown, Gallia Academy’s Ava Angel and Jenna Harrison, Vinton County’s Jordyn Zinn, Unioto’s Megan Miller and Morgan Daniels, Miami Trace’s Delaney Thomas, Fairland’s Katie DeHart, Washington’s Lily Shaw, Logan Elm’s Lynsey Vanhoose and Jackie Clifton, Hillsboro’s Eowyn Brown and Halle Reveal, and Athens’ Kateyanne Walburn.

On the honorable mention list is Miami Trace’s Lexi Ely and Ella McCarty, Circleville’s Ella Michael, Gallia Academy’s Addy Burke, McClain’s Kenzie Wise, Brie Cummings and Harley Peabody, Vinton County’s Gracie Peters, Logan Elm’s Meredith Jarvis, Washington’s Madison Haithcock, Waverly’s Faith Thornsberry and Machelle Stewart, Fairland’s Ally Shepherd and Katie Pruitt, Jackson’s Bryn Denny and Makayla Wyant, and Fairfield Union’s Adelyn Wolfe and Kayla Emswiler.

DIVISION III

In Division III, Wheelersburg’s Macee Eaton headlines the list and is also the division’s Player of the Year.

Joining Eaton with first-team honors are teammates Catie Boggs and Andi Jo Howard, West’s Sydney McDermott and Emily Moore, South Webster’s Skylar Zimmerman and Ashlee Spence, Wellston’s Hannah Potts and Maddie Childers, Adena’s Kiera Williams and Greenlee Bossert, Ironton’s Graycie Brammer, Portsmouth’s Olivia Dickerson and Emily Cheatham, Zane Trace’s Lexi Scott, Westfall’s Olivia Dumm, Rock Hill’s Karlee Gillespie, Northwet’s Brooke Hawes, Southeastern’s Erin Richendollar, and Coal Grove’s Abbie Deeds.

Wheelersburg’s Teresa Ruby, who led her Pirates to a state championship, is the Division III Coach of the Year.

Making the second-team list was Fairfield’s Jobey Hattan, Ironton’s Khamil Martin, Westfall’s Makayla Cook, Northwest’s Mollyann Runyon, Minford’s Addi Lute, West’s Emma Sayre, Chesapeake’s Morgan Clark, Southeastern’s Grace Wireman, Lynchburg-Clay’s Noel Barnhill, Huntington’s Savannah Bushatz, Portsmouth’s Katie Ankrom, South Point’s Kimrie Staley, North Adams’ Carlee Garrison, South Webster’s Addi Claxon, and Zane Trace’s Gracey McCullough.

Highlighting the honorable mention list is Wheelersburg’s Haley Myers, Porstmouth’s Maddie Boren, Fairfield’s Sydney Sanders and Rilee Quickle, Southeastern’s Aly Fisher, South Point’s Alli Stidham and Jaidyn Malone, Zane Trace’s Abby Guffey and Alayna Butler, Westfall’s Delana Landefeld, Huntington’s Leah McCloskey and Mackenzie Paugh, Wellston’s Allison Kilgour and Jasmine Mohler, Chesapeake’s McKenna Brown, Angel Hundley and Addison Maynard, North Adams’ Paige Evans and Karis Tumbleson and Olivia Wright, Lynchburg-Clay’s Brya McClain and Caitlyn Collins, Coal Grove’s Rylee Black and Jordyn Dale, Ironton’s Bella Sorbilli and Aubrey Ferguson, Rock Hill’s Shay Matney and Charlie Long, Minford’s Miranda Jonnson and Joey Neal, Adena’s Emma Garrison, Fairfield’s Faith Miller, Northwest’s Lauren Redoutey and Madi Puckett, South Webster’s Bella Claxon, and West’s Kaylor Picklesimer.

DIVISION IV

Notre Dame junior Gwen Sparks, who helped her Titans reach the Elite 8 for the second straight season, headlines the Division IV all-district list and is the Player of the Year.

Joining Sparks with first-team honors is teammate Kyndall Ford, Symmes Valley’s Desiree Simpson and Brenna Tibbs, Manchester’s Rylie Young, Kameyl Carter and Emilee Applegate, Eastern’s Megan Nickell, Peebles’ Caydence Carroll, Clay’s Sarah Cassidy, Paint Valley’s Sophia Stauffer and Whiteoak’s Bri Hill.

The division’s Coach of the Year is Manchester’s Mathias Applegate.

Western’s Megan Whitley, Green’s Emma Brown, Paint Valley’s Bella Stauffer, East’s Shey Johnson, Notre Dame’s Libby Kelly, Symmes Valley’s Savannah Mart and Lindsey Freeman, New Boston’s Dylan O’Rourke and Jadelyn Lawson, Peebles’ Payton Davis are all second-team all-district honorees.

Honorable mention accolades go to Clay’s Adrienne Whitley, Amadea Everman and Shae Rawlins, Notre Dame’s Bree Hicks, Whiteoak’s Jaylie Parr and Molly McMullen, Peebles’ Lily McFarland, Manchester’s Jenna Campbell, Eastern’s Hannah Feltz, Western’s Finley May and Kenzi Ferneau, New Boston’s Cassie Williams, Green’s Ryleigh McDavid and Kiley McIntyre, and East’s Bailey Guido, Adriana Hufford and Karleigh Lennox.
