CHILLICOTHE — Hillsboro’s Camryn Spruell and Washington’s Titus Lotz have been named the Frontier Athletic Conference Players of the Year after the league announced its all-league softball and baseball teams on Monday afternoon.

Both Spruell and Lotz have led their teammates to league championships this spring, and both came in undefeated fashion.

Spruell, a sophomore, is hitting .614 this season alongside 11 home runs, 46 RBIs and 38 runs scored. She’s also 14-2 in the circle with a 1.86 ERA and 195 strikeouts. Those numbers have helped the Indians compile a 20-2 mark.

Lotz has been as effective for the Blue Lions. The senior and Bowling Green State commit has led Washington to a 21-1 record while getting it done at both the plate and on the mound.

Joining Spruell on the all-league list are teammates Kinsey Gilliland, Halle Reveal and Addison Huff, as well as Jackson’s Serenity Taylor, Maddie Wright and Skylar Hatfield, Chillicothe’s Julie Lemaster, Miami Trace’s Delaney Thomas and Ella McCarty, and Washington’s Lilly Shaw.

As for the boys list, Lotz is joined by teammates John Wall, Tanner Lemaster and Jonah Waters, Miami Trace’s Gaige Stuckey and Dillon Hyer, Jackson’s Noah Ernst, Gaven Jones and Ramey Wyant, Chillicothe’s Mason Brown, and McClain’s Kaden Penwell.
