The MSL-Buckeye has announced its all-league girls basketball teams.

CARROLL — For the second consecutive season, Bloom-Carroll’s Emily Bratton has been named the MSL-Buckeye’s Player of the Year.

Bratton, a junior, leads the Bulldogs in scoring and has paced her teammates to a 13-8 mark alongside a 10-4 record inside conference play.

Also receiving honors is Teays Valley coach Trevor Younkin, who was named the league’s Coach of the Year after pacing his Vikings to a league title with an 11-3 mark in MSL action.

Joining Bratton with first-team honors is teammate Marissa Wilkinson as well as Teays Valley’s Alyssa Horsley, Kennedy Younkin, Liberty Union’s Abbie Riddle, Fairfield Union’s Nicole Terry, Amanda-Clearcreek’s Emily Buckley and Circleville’s Maddie Blakeman.

Second-team honors were earned by Liberty Union’s Delaney Peck, Fairfield Union’s Elly Lewis and Christian Thompson, Hamilton Township’s Ziann Payne, Logan Elm’s Kiannah Ingram, Amanda’s Taylor Evans, Circleville’s Gabby McConnell and Teays Valley’s Abby Tier.

Logan Elm’s Kimberly Petty, Hamilton Township’s Alexis Wooten, Bloom-Carroll’s Alyssa Brown, Liberty Union’s Morgan Love, Circleville’s Morgan Blakeman and Faith Yancey, Teays Valley’s Gabrielle Watkins and Bloom-Carroll’s Tessa Brooks make up the honorable mention list.
