CARROLL — The Mid-State League’s Buckeye Division has announced its all-league girls soccer honors and a pair of Bloom-Carroll names headline the list.

Circleville’s Faith Yancey and Amanda-Clearcreek’s Emilee Stats have each earned all-league honors.

The Bulldogs, who finished an undefeated regular season, saw senior Jordyn Adams earn MSL-Buckeye Player of the Year honors while coach Mark Casperson was named the Coach of the Year.

Adams and Casperson led Bloom-Carroll to an 8-0 mark in league play, eight matches where the Bulldogs outscored their opponents by a 48-2 margin.

Adams is joined by teammates Tessa Brooks and Madeline Jackson on the league’s first-team list while Fairfield Union, which finished second in the league standings, had three first-team selections in Isabella Neal, Nella Stansberry and Rachael Warthman.

The league’s first-team list is rounded out by Hamilton Township’s Natalia Cruz and Ka-Maya Cruz, Teays Valley’s Ella Jacob, Brooklyn Herbert and Gabby Wehrlin, Amanda-Clearcreek’s Emilee Stats and Rachel Weaver, Circleville’s Payton Ford, Liberty Union’s Emily Dininno, Fisher Catholic’s Annie McGill and Logan Elm’s Kaitlyn Otterbacher.

Second-team honors were earned by Bloom-Carroll’s Cameron Hartsook, Alyssa Brown, Morgan Adams and Sophie Haughn, Fairfield Union’s Hannah George, Claudia Rhymer, and Kylie McMahon, Teays Valley’s Kassidy Lange, Annaleigh Jett and Faith Kanoski, Hamilton Township’s Ziann Payne and Morgan Fannin, Amanda-Cleacreek’s Kayden Kern and Emily Buckley, Circleville’s Faith Yancey, Liberty Union’s Riley Kennedy, and Fisher Catholic’s Lydia Martin.

The league’s honorable mention list is as follows: Bloom-Carroll’s Charlie Conrad, Logan Elm’s Tia Fowler, Meredith Jarvis and Siennah Bryant, Fairfield Union’s Grace Warthman, Chloe Thompson and Claire Brown, Teays Valley’s Brooke Jacob and Ellie Hess, Hamilton Township’s Sadie Orum and Isabella Lutz, Amanda-Clearcreek’s Graycie Kern and Abbie Leddingham, Liberty Union’s Savannah Howell and Alyssa Abrams, Circleville’s Nilyn Cockerham and Kylie McCain, and Fisher Catholic’s Jayda Dixon.
