Here’s a look at the SVC’s all-league boys and girls soccer lists

A trio of familiar names lead the honorees.

CHILLICOTHE — The Scioto Valley Conference released its all-league soccer teams on Thursday and three familiar names headlined the list.

Unioto’s Lucas Hanes scored 43 goals and passed out 21 assists en route to the SVC’s co-POY honor.

Unioto’s Ashtyn Miller is the girls Player of the Year while Unioto’s Lucas Hanes and Zane Trace’s Ivan Chavez shared the honor on the boys side.

Miller led the Shermans to a fourth consecutive Gold Ball while Hanes helped his team finish 16-1 during the regular season, scoring 43 goals and passing out 21 assists. Chavez aided the Pioneers to a 14-5 mark with 25 goals and 27 assists. 

Goalie of the Year honors went to Piketon’s Natalie Cooper while Unioto’s Micah Geise and Zane Trace’s Judah Hanks shared that crown on the boys side.

Unioto’s Jeremy Clark earned Girls Coach of the Year honors while Unioto’s Freddy Cortez earned his first Boys Coach of the Year accolade.

Here’s a full look at each of the SVC’s boys and girls all-league soccer lists.

Hanes was joined by teammates Cameron Thompson, JC Stark, Kamden Smith and River Pettigrew on the all-league list while Chavez earned the honor alongside teammates Jordan Harrington and Marco Chavez.

Westfall’s Brady Mullins and Piketon’s Oren Harris rounded out the all-league list while honorable mention selections included Piketon’s Dane Morgensen, Westfall’s Colton Spaniol, Unioto’s Jaydence Gaus and Zane Trace’s Landen Robinson.

As for the girls, Miller is joined by teammates Autumn Stanger, Jade Fair, Ryleigh Bode and Amelia Uhrig. Piketon’s Olivia MacCrae, Bailey Fuller and Whitney Dean, Southeastern’s Londyn Wallace, Westfall’s Alyssa Wyman and Zane Trace’s Brooklynn Wade round out the all-league list.

Honorable mention honorees are Piketon’s Kaylee Maynard, Southeastern’s Grace Gumm, Unioto’s Cailyn Bash, Westfall’s Mayson Gordon and Zane Trace’s Abby Guffey.
