CHILLICOTHE — The OHSBCA released its All-Ohio baseball teams this afternoon and a trio of familiar names led the area’s selections.
In Division III, Westfall senior Lucas Blackburn is a first-team selection after leading his Mustangs to a share of the Scioto Valley Conference crown. Meanwhile, in Division IV, Clay’s pair of Shaden Malone and Clay Cottle are first-teamers as well after the Panthers breezed through SOC I action.
In Division II, a trio of Frontier Athletic Conference talents earned second-team All-Ohio honors. Miami Trace’s Connor Bucher and Josh Gilmore, as well as Hillsboro’s Ryan Scott, make up that group.
Unioto’s Carson DeBord and Cameron DeBord are honorable mention selections in Division II, as is Fairfield Union’s Ethan Hyme.
Joining Blackburn on the Division III list is Wheelersburg’s Eric Green, a second-team selection, as well as West’s Luke Howard, Westfall’s Titan Williams, and North Adams’ Cade Meade, who are honorable mention members.
In Division IV, Paint Valley senior Brock Blanton is a second-team all-state honoree.
